ان الشيخوخة والأمراض التى تلازمها ليست فى حد ذاتها أسبابا كافية لتوقيع الحجر على شخص إلا اذا نتج عنها اختلال فى القوى العقلية يجعل ذلك الشخص غير كفء لادارة أعماله بنفسه .

DAME HALIMA BENT AHMAD IBRAHIM v. SAAD OMAR MEHASSEB. Interdiction—Causes—Old age and infirmities resulting from old age—Mental faculties. Old age and infirmities which result from it are not, in themselves, sufficient causes for placing a person under interdiction, where no mental troubles have arisen which render such person incapable of looking after his own interests.
