تنتهى الوصاية عند بلوغ القاصر ثمانى عشرة سنة طبقا لنص المادة الثامنة من الأمر العالى الصادر فى ١٩ نوفمبر سنة ١٨٩٦ وقد حكم بأن هذه السنين تحسب طبقا للتقويم الهجرى فيما يتعلق بالأشخاص الخاضعين فى أحوالهم الشخصية للشريعة الإسلامية .

SUPERIOR MEGLIS HASBY. 31 MAY 1914. MM. Yahia Ibrahim Pasha (Pres.); Hassan Galal Bey, Ahmad Zulficar Bey, El Sheikh Muhammad Mahmoud Naguy, Hassan Radwan Pasha (Members). NAGLA BENT ALY ABU ZEID MOUSSA v. ALY MUHAMMAD GADALLAH. Capacity—Age of majority—Calculation—Arabic calendar.—(Art. 8. Decree of November 19, 1896.) Under Article 8 of the Decree of November 19, 1896, concerning Meglis Habys, guardianship terminates at the age of eighteen years. Held, that for persons who are governed by the Mohammadan personal statute, the eighteen years aforesaid must be calculated according to the Arabic Calendar.

DAME NAGLA BENT ALI ABOU ZEID MOUSSA contre ALI MOHAMED GADALLAH. Capacité—Age de majorité—Calcul—Calendrier arabe—(Art. 8, Décret du 19 novembre 1896.) D'après l'article 8 du Décret du 19 novembre 1896, sur les Méglis Hasbys, la tutelle prend fin à l'âge de dix-huit ans. Jugé, que pour les personnes régies par le statut personnel musulman, ces dix-huit ans doivent être calculés d'après le calendrier arabe.
