يعتبر مرتكبا لجريمة الرشوة وواقعا تحت العقوبات المنصوص عنها فى المواد ٨٩ الى ٩٦ عقوبات الشخص الذى يشرع فى اعطاء رشوة لكاتب مفتش الرى ليحمله على أن لا يقيد اسمه فى الكشف الذى يكتب بناء على أمر المفتش بأسماء المخالفين للوائح الرى .

Arts. 89-96.) A person who attempts to bribe the secretary of an irrigation inspector, in order to induce the secretary to delete his name from a list of persons guilty of breaches of the irrigation regulations which is kept by the secretary, on the instructions of the inspector, is guilty of the offence of corruption and liable to the penalty prescribed by articles 89 to 96 of the Penal Code.

MINISTÈRE PUBLIC contre RIZKALLAH HANNA ABDALLAH. Corruption—Tentative—Fonctionnaire du Service des Irrigations. (C.P. art. 89-96.) Une personne qui tente de corrompre le secrétaire d'un inspecteur des Irrigations afin d'amener le secrétaire à omettre son nom de la liste des personnes coupables d'avoir enfreint les règlements sur les irrigations, liste dressée par le secrétaire sur l'ordre de l'inspecteur, est coupable de l'infraction de corruption et passible des peines prescrites par les art. 89 à 96 du C.P.
