لا يصح انتخاب غير المصريين أعضاء لمجالس المديريات وقد عرف الامر العالى الصادر فى ٢٩ يونيه سنة ١٩٠٠ من هم «المصريون» فلا يصح انتخاب شخص الا اذا توفرت فيه الشروط المبينة فى المادة الاولى من الامر العالى المذكور أو ثبت انه قام بما تدون بالمادتين « ٢,٣ » منه ولا يمكن أن يكون انتخابه صحيحا بغير ذلك كما لو طالت مدة اقامته بالقطر المصرى(١) [الحاشية المطبوعة] (١) راجع الحكم المنشور أعلاه عدد ١٠٠

TRIBUNAL OF BENI-SUEF 7 MAY 1911. MM. Abd-el-Rahman Ibrahim Effendi (Pres.) : Youssef Mina Effendi. Muhammad Ezzat Effendi (JJ.). ABD-EL-SATTAR EL-BASIL AND ANOTHER v. KHALID LOUTFY PASHA Elections—Qualifications of person elected — Egyptian nationality. (Decree of 29 June 1900.) None but Egyptians can be validly elected members of the Provincial Councils. "Egyptians" are defined by the Decree of the 29th June 1900, so that a person can only be validly elected if he fulfils the conditions mentioned in art. 1 of that Decree or has complied with the requirements of arts. 2 and 3 thereof ; no other circumstance, such as long residence in Egypt, will avail to render his election valid. ABD-EL-SATTAR EL-BASIL ET AUTRE contre KHALID LOUTFY PACHA Elections — Eligibilité — Indigénat égyptien. (Décret du 29 juin 1900.) Il faut être égyptien pour être éligible aux conseils provinciaux. L'indigénat égyptien est défini par le Décret du 29 juin 1900 et pour être valablement élu il faut remplir les conditions mentionnées dans l'art. 1er de ce décret ou s'être conformé aux dispositions de ses art. 2 et 3; aucune autre circonstance, telle que le fait que la personne élue a résidé longtemps en Egypte, ne peut être prise en considération pour décider de la validité d'une élection.
