تشمل عبارة « ضرب أو جرح » كل فعل يقع على الجسم ويكون له تأثير ظاهر أو باطن وعلى ذلك تنطبق المــادة «٢٠٠» عقوبات على حالة الضـغط على عنق المجنى عليه حتى يموت مختنقا

COURT OF CASSATION 15 JANUARY 1910. MM. Bond (Pres.); Ahmad Zulfikar Bey, Ahmad Moussa Bey, Muhammad Safwat Bey, Soudan (JJ.); Muhammad Tewfik Nessim Bey (State Rep.). STATE REPRESENTATIVE v. EL-TANTAWY MUHAMMAD HERSH "Blows and wounds"—Meaning of expression—Art. 200 P.C.—Interpretation—Suffocation. (P.C. art. 200.) The expression "blows and wounds" includes an act committed on the surface of the body whether the effect of such act upon the body be external or internal, and, therefore, art. 200 P.C. may be applied to the act of pressing upon the throat of the victim which caused him to die of suffocation.

MINISTÈRE PUBLIC contre EL-TANTAWY MOHAMED HERSH « Coups et blessures » — Sens de l'expression — Art. 200 C.P. — Interprétation — Asphyxie. ( C.P. art. 200.) L'expression « coups et blessures » comprend un acte commis sur la surface du corps, que l'effet qui en est résulté sur le corps soit extérieur ou intérieur; l'art. 200 C. P. par conséquent est à bon droit appliqué au fait d'avoir exercé sur la gorge de la victime une pression qui a eu pour conséquence la mort par asphyxie.
