لا يقبل الاثبات بالبينة عند ضياع سند قيمته أكثر من ألف قرش اذا كان ضياعه راجعا الى اهمال الدائن .

Evidence in civil cases—Proof by witnesses—Admissibility—Loss of document of title—Negligence. (Art. 218 C.C.) Proof by witnesses is not admissible, in the case of the loss of a document of title, where the value involved exceeds P.T. 1,000, if the document was lost through the negligence of the person in whose possession it was.
